So after a year of hangin' around LA, I finally got a chance to see The Milky Way do their thing. At the very least they are an interesting band of music makers. But if you're paying attention, something deeper is revealed. What I see is a new brand of being. I got a chance to do a brief interview with some of the members of this motley crew. I found every one of them to be in alignment with their creation. BTW, the show and the music are dope! Check this out:

Until next time, Keep it Milky>>>

"MEET TSHOMBE"

Peace Fam,
As mentioned, "Finding Alignment" is a documentary about the journey. And this path has been a challenge! I sent the following video to Kick Starter last year and got shut down. At the time it was definitely discouraging and a bruise to my ego. But being a student/teacher is my life's work. So I move forward>>>

A few months back, the homies A-Ski, Tailwind Turner and I had a residency at a new restaurant in DTLA. For a change of pace, the Professor (A-Ski) invited this cat D-Felic from Holland to come rock a set with us. I wasn't able to make it that night, so I actually didn't get to see him do his thing until that weekend. He's nice at his craft.

Here's a fly "ReFix" he did of some pop song I'd never heard of. You be the judge.
 -Big up D-Felic!

In the next episode: a lesson in "keepin' it  Milky". Stay tuned.

True,
da'shon is.

"BACK AGAIN"

FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE: BSP UNTITLED 3- A collection of re-imagined music.  As a GarageBand hobbyist, I've been making beats since '06. But I didn't discover sampling until later. One day, after recording a DJ practice session on the 1s and 2s, I decided to turn it into a mixtape. But I needed an intro. So I figured out how to create a loop at the beginning of "The Traveler: Vol.1", and I was hooked!  I started playing around with some of my favorite childhood songs, and my obsession grew from there. -This is the 3rd installment.

                                         ENJOY!   ///STAY TUNED///
